EAST ASIA
hen we look at East Asia, we know this is, in many ways,
the hardest of the hard. Quite honestly, we don’t really
know how we’ll see Bible translation start for all remaining
languages in this area.
W
But God is at work, both in ways that we can see and in
ways that are only known by Him! People in neighboring
countries are providing orientation and training to pastors
and church leaders who, in turn, give on-the-ground leadership
to translation projects in languages without Scripture. Virtual
training has amplified this impact; local pastors connect with
others online for practical coaching and are supported by tools
that make learning and collaboration possible across borders. We’re
leveraging technology — including emerging AI — to serve these communities
more effectively, and we’re exploring new partnerships that help churches lead this work locally.
We don’t know exactly where this will lead; it often feels like looking down an
alley without knowing where it ends. But as long as God allows the doors
for translation work to remain open, we’ll keep walking through
them alongside the local church until we either see the
way forward or reach a wall.
Join us in praying that God will continue
to open these doors and reveal
opportunities for engagement
and partnership. Pray also that
translation will start for all
remaining languages in East
Asia. To God be the glory!
