ince the beginning of 2025, Vanuatu has
been counted among the highest remaining
needs. Historically, Nigeria held that fifth spot,
but God has done amazing work there. Over a twoyear span, Nigeria dropped from approximately 250
languages needing translation to just 11 today.

In recent months, the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu
has started work in 25 languages. They’ve also contributed
$1.33 million through in-kind giving as a church! The church
is motivated and mobilizing its people, and many people are
volunteering to work together. Other partners
are collaborating to ensure that all remaining
languages are engaged in translation.
As a result, Vanuatu now has just 18
remaining languages that need
Bible translation to start.
